01 -
Get your air fryer nice and hot at 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes. If you want, give the basket a quick spray with some cooking oil when it's ready.
02 -
Toss your chicken thighs into a big ziplock bag or covered bowl. Dump in the salt, smoky paprika, garlic, oregano, and onion powder. Give everything a good shake so the chicken gets coated all over.
03 -
Put your seasoned chicken in the basket with the skin facing down and let it cook for 12 minutes.
04 -
Turn the chicken over so the skin's facing up now and keep cooking for another 10-15 minutes. Want it extra crispy? Cook it a bit longer in 4-minute chunks until it's just how you like it.
05 -
Make sure your chicken's done by sticking a meat thermometer into the fattest part. You want it to hit 165°F (74°C). Remember, cooking time might change based on how big your chicken is or how powerful your air fryer runs.
06 -
Grab it while it's hot and dig into your crispy chicken thighs straight from the air fryer.
